Journey Psychiatry is Certified Tricare Out-of-Network providers. We are only able to accept Tricare patients who have out‑of‑network benefits. Coverage & reimbursement vary by plan, so we strongly recommend verifying benefits prior to scheduling.
How Insurance Works With Us
As a courtesy, our team can help verify your insurance benefits before your first appointment. This may include:
Confirming in-network or out-of-network status
Reviewing possible copays, deductibles, or coinsurance
Noting when certain medications or treatments require prior authorization
Confirming that no referral is required
Before your visit, our intake coordinator will review what to expect financially and go over our cancellation policy, which is not covered by insurance. Coverage and payment responsibilities are determined by your individual plan.
Our verification is not a guarantee of payment from your insurance company. You are encouraged to contact your insurance provider with any questions regarding the information provided.
