Abagail Morgan-RMHCI
Therapist Intern
Abigail is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University and has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem challenges.
Before pursuing her master’s degree, Abigail worked with children in early education, where she developed a strong appreciation for the importance of emotional development, family relationships, and early intervention. This experience continues to inform her work with clients of all ages and contributes to her passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families.
Abigail believes that every person has a unique story and strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her counseling style is collaborative and client-centered, helping individuals build insight, develop practical coping skills, and work toward lasting, meaningful change.
Through her experience in a dual-diagnosis treatment setting, Abigail has worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. She is passionate about helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while supporting them in developing healthier ways of coping and relating to themselves and others.
Abigail is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. She believes that meaningful growth occurs when clients feel safe enough to explore challenges, recognize their strengths, and take steps toward the life they want to create. She feels honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Outside of counseling, Abigail enjoys working out, spending time at the beach, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She values maintaining a healthy balance between personal wellness and professional growth and brings that perspective into her work with clients
